AHHH I LOVE HIM SO MUCH REGEGEG!!! I've been writing a story for quite a long time, and I have put a lot of thought and time into it. The character of Uriel had been their since the start, but I haven't had an actual design for him yet! When I saw this guy, I knew he was perfect <3 Name: Uriel Pronouns: He/Him Species: Angel/Archangel Role: Archangel of Knowledge, Head of the Omniscents Keeper of the Tree of Life -He does indeed have halos and large wings, but I left them out of the drawing. TW: d34th Heaven is not what humans say it is. They portray it as a place where they- or, the good souls, shall go once they pass. But angels know better. For them, it is a home. They grow up there. From Creation to Naming ceremony, their Selection, and their Orientation, angels are privileged with immortality (only whist in Heaven, of course), and are blessed with the most important jobs in the universe, quite literally. For example, Cupids are sent down to Earth, tasked with coupling two individuals matched by a flawless system designed to pair the most suitable two together. Some angels chose to follow the path of Warriors, who are in charge of creating and settling disputes (such as wars) on Earth in order to keep a balance. Creators extract the desirable traits, experiences, and paths from past, stored souls in order to create new, more suitable ones. Those are only some roles an Angel can choose to pursue. However, the Omniscents are undoubtedly the most respected and essential roles in heaven. When a new Omniscent joins what is called the Arboreal, they obtain every piece of information in time via brain injection. They are tasked with analyzing the lives of humans, creating matches for Cupids, and deciding who's soul will and will not be stored for rebirth. Being an Omniscent is by far the most difficult job, as angels must make it through years of intense training just to have a chance at becoming one. After all, all roles in Heaven rely on the work happening within the Arboreal. Omniscents are restricted from ever leaving the Arboreal, and are not allowed to maintain any outside connections with friends or family members. Many new Omniscents are shocked to find that Uriel, who isn't allowed to interact with anyone outside of the Arboreal besides from the other Archangels, looks barely older than them, appearing only about 22 or 23 years of human age. However, it's apparent that he is much older. The pace of his speech is collected and smooth, and the way he delivers his words strikes anyone interacting with him with a strong force of wisdom. Though he seems but a young child, Uriel had experienced more than any other Omniscent ever will. He is eternal. He rarely leaves his pristine office, where he works in solitude. Though Omniscents are technically allowed to socialize with each other, talk must remain strictly factual. Omniscents may not speak of their own opinions to anyone, as even a hint of bias could break the perfection of society. Uriel is known to be one of the most intimidating Archangels, and is said to carry a similar power to Archangel Micheal, the Head of all of Heaven. It is said that, when in the presence of Archangel Uriel, you feel greatly inferior and weak, as if the fact that you are an immortal angel means nothing. The weight of his knowledge almost hangs in the air, it's nearly visible. Yet he is said to emit a strange warmth, a sense of security. But all of that is what is said about him. No angel truly knows much about him, as anyone close enough to have met him is either an Archangel or an Omniscent. They say Uriel is quiet, often observing, collecting more information. He was always collecting more information. He wasn't one quick to anger, but there were cases. Rumors that once, centuries ago, an Omniscent had been talking to another angel, and sneaking out of the Arboreal to meet with them. What their talks were about, no one knows, but it was strictly forbidden for any Omniscent to speak to anyone other than other Omniscents ever. It mattered not what they spoke of, it was a broken law. Rumor has it that Uriel was furious, and had smashed in a pillar of his office. The rule breaking Omniscent and the angel he had been meeting with were both never seen again. Uriel had simply removed them from the timeline. According to the rumor, of course. But only Uriel knew that the rumor was indeed true. Only Uriel knew that his extra set of eyes were not his own. They had been pried from the sockets of those who had betrayed him. They were a metaphor for the fact that he was always watching. Only Uriel knew that he had not only removed the two from the timeline. Only Uriel knew that he had taken a d4gg3r to their h34rts , letting them watch eachother d13. He knew that, if anyone found out, the consequences would be severe. But who could ever destroy someone with the knowledge of the world?
