Nova suffers from crippling anxiety, and the guilt of stealing and dullness in her life didn't make it any better. One day, after coming home from their daily loot, her parents brought home a small, just barely working, old fashioned TV. She turned it on to find a strong, colorful, lady swinging her bat, fighting anyone who got in her way; Harley Quinn. Nova was immediately hooked to this character who, in a weird way strongly related to. She wasn't doing good, yet she wasn't the most evil person in the world either. Harley's backstory was complex, and you had to dig deeper to figure out who she truly was. Even when things got worse, Nova always had someone to be reminded of, and Nova started to learn fighting skills and even a bit of spy work, not just to stay alive and help her family, but to feel like she had a purpose in life and could help others in need. Once in the dark, you learn to appreciate everything that shines. *I might add more hehe*
