Monitors are recordkeepers used by GdR. Similar to crooks, a deceased person's soul is bound to a machine. The said person is blessed with extreme intelligence, being bound to the Monitor already gifted or being flooded with knowledge assisted by their newfound mental capacity. Monitors are assigned, typically willingly, to someone, whom they provide with records and knowledge. Monitors also serve other purposes, such as education and piloting, etc. If damaged, monitors are capable of self-repair to an extent until they can be externally repaired. Monitors have a DEW laser integrated into their 'eye', which allows for self-defence. If the soul leaves a Monitor's body, all of its knowledge is transported with it, and the soul is unable to assimilate into a body that cannot process the knowledge it holds.
