Arrow keys move the player. Enter opens editor. Open editor to reload scene. close the editor or press s to save your scene. keys 0, 1, 2, & 3 change layers. 0: no collisions. 0, 1, & 2: under player. 3: over player. press the key for the current layer to enter onion mode. press again to exit. click to place/ pick tile. arrow keys to scroll pallet. door tile: change scene. It will ask you which scene it'll go to. yellow person: spawn tile. It will ask you which scene you come from to spawn there (ex. put it outside a door to "house", and enter "house" and when you leave the house you will spawn there.) blue person: add other characters. green sword: add items. I'm currently working on this. red cameras: restrict camera movement. It is used on the path above the lake. press p for the collision editor. hover over the pin you want to activate/deactivate. press o in the tile editor to close/open the pallet. press d to go through a door. hold m while you're moving to move fast in the editor. don't use the text bubble tile. It will just stop the project. press n e w in the editor to make a new scene.
The base project including tile editor, moving, collisions and saving and loading was coded with a tutorial by griffpatch. Art is by various sources I will find and show. The rest is by me: NPCs, items, doors, spawning, camera restriction, 4 layers, etc.
