Hello! I know many people may not remember me, and that's ok! I'm not looking for recognition, I am only looking to spread the word. I honestly did forget about this, and I have no excuse except the normal "life got busy". Which, yes, that's true, but you know what?? Even when life gets busy we still make time for the people, and things we love. And I didn't make time to preach more on scratch, and I truly regret that. I do love God, and I do love spreading word of his wonderful gift <3 So from now on, I'm going to come back here every now and then and spread God's love. The world continues to get more sinful each passing day, and we all truly need Jesus. Christianity is not a religion. It's a relationship with your creator who loves you beyond anything. My heart breaks when I look around me and see countless people who haven't met God. It is so so so hard to make friends and know in my heart they might not end up in heaven. Why? Is it because they aren't good enough? Yes. NO ONE is good enough to enter heaven by their works alone. In order to go to heaven you must be /perfect/ and without sin. Yet no one is, Romans 3:23 tells us "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". We are all sinners. Now you may be like, but christen, I thought you just said people won't make it to heaven because they aren't good enough, wouldn't that mean you won't go to heaven either? Yes, that /would/ be true if God hadn't done something for us because he loved us so so so much, that even though we all /deserve/ hell, he gave us a way to be in heaven with him anyways. We needed someone to take the punishment of all our sins, and the only one who can the punishment for /everyone/ is someone who is sinless. So God sent us his one and only son, someone perfect without sin, to take the punishment for US. And so many truly don't understand how loving this is. God could have done anything he wanted to us in the blink of an eye for our sins. He created us, and he can take us away. Yet he still had mercy on us despite all our sins and unrighteousness. I'm tired of people saying "I deserve this" and "I deserve that". We deserve NOTHING, nothing at all, and yet still, still GOD gave US, SINNERS, the option to live ETERNALLY IN PARADISE. It's really so sad that so many throw this chance away in exchange for eternal torment. But hey, guess what? Like I said, God gives us a way to be in heaven eternally with him once our spirit departs this world. Turn to God, declare him as your savior and accept his gift of life. Keep his commandments and live for him as best as you can, never stop striving to be a better servant to God. And if you stumble and sin? That's ok, confess your sins to him and repent and you will be forgiven. This doesn't mean you continue to do the sin with the excuse of "oh he will forgive me later", no, repent means to realize it is wrong and to do your best to not do it again. God really does love you so much. Have a blessed day <3
