At some point in their journey around that area of the world they encounter an Iterator named Seething Void who struggles with a slugcat infestation. After initial apprehension, they formed a sort of symbiotic relationship; The Cannibal gets to eat the slugcats infesting the structure and Seething Void gets pest control. The Cannibal is very devoted to the Iterator.
