I’ve awoken from my art block nap!!! Hi everyone! This is my process on how I recreated Dazai’s favorite book from Bungo Stray Dogs. This is for my Halloween costume, where I’m dressing up as PM Dazai! I’m super proud of this quick craft, even though it’s pretty simple. Here’s some notes on how I made the cover! ............................................................................. Materials: Small book or manga, Red and white card stock/paper, pencil, white paint pen/white paint, ruler, scissors, painter’s tape or any tape that isn’t too strong -I recommend using clips to help when folding the cover into the book (see step 5) -use a pencil and ruler to help you sketch out the base of the characters and measurements! -I didn’t do the characters on the spine bc they’re way too small for me and too intricate XD -use tape that isn’t strong, so that it’s easy to take off the book when you want to! -This took me roughly 2 hours to make. This was a super quick project, and I did this comfortably on a school night (literally the night this is posted) :D
