The X-20 "Tarrasque" variable forward-swept wing fifth-gen fighter is the Foundation's latest attempt at developping a multirole all-weather carrier-capable aircraft, with it not simply being a jack of all trades, but instead a master of all. The forward-swept wings and the combo of canards and V-tail, as well as a pair of 2D thrust vectoring nozzles, allow it to outmaneuver any other aircraft in close range situations, and perform high-G turns not possible in other airframes worldwide. However, the wings and the V-tail can fold such that the aircraft becomes essentially a flying wing, and as such, possess an aerodynamically superior and stealthier shape. In such configuration, the Tarrasque is able to remain undetected to enemy radars at distances of up to 15km, and reach speeds of up to Mach 2.7. The Tarrasque's internal weapons bay contains 6 hardpoints, each able to carry up to 500lbs of ordinance, but the aircraft can allow for 4 additional external hardpoints. It features an array of sensors, notably ground and air radar, that allow it to perform flawlessly in any role short of carpet bombing. From CAS to air-dominance scenarios, the Tarrasque can do it all. The X-20 Tarrasque is to be included in the Foundation's Air Force and Navy, and put immediately in service as their main aerial combat platform.
