After six months and ten and a half hours of labor, I present my best piece so far. I confess that, on multiple occasions, I wanted to give up. Taking a break in the middle of the this piece didn’t help. When I came back, I immediately wanted to restart since I’d developed since drawing it. Out of a desire to get done, I frustratedly decided to “just finish”. But I forgot that I still love to draw. And I still care about doing my best. So I relaxed and…had fun. And this was my result I haven’t been as proud of a piece in ages, and for the first time since June of 2023, my showcase artwork changed to this lovely lady. It was a struggle, but even still, I loved this character and this delicate design. I know it took me forever, but I do hope the quality makes up for it!
