The storyteller whispered her final tale: a story about a lost spirit searching for a friend. As she spoke her last words, a chill swept through the room, and the candle’s flame flickered out. When Phantom opened his eyes, the house was empty, and a silver fog curled around his paws. He wandered into the mist, calling softly — and the forest answered. The fog shimmered, wrapping around him like a cloak. His soft black fur deepened to violet, his eyes grew hollow and glowing, and a trail of light began to follow his steps.
