The same day Cascade was born, The mayor of the town they lived in died. It was brushed off as a coincidence. 2nd year birthday, their older brother died on the same day. Poor thing, Mustve had their birthday ruined. 4th year birthday. The Head commander of the offensive army died on the same hour they were celebrating. Bad luck, They said. But now the were becoming paranoid. The fact that every two years from Cascade's birth, A important dragon died was making them superstitious. 8th birthday, The king of the kingdom died after reigning a good 120 years (these dragons live up to 200 years) Other dragons starting calling them a bad omen from the gods and that they should execute them. Cascade spent next year of their life living in constant fear, Since some dragons tried to poison them or kidnap them. they got so scared they tried running away but were caught and thrown into an abandoned prison. Since the chains were rusty Cascade had no problem breaking out. This scene shows them broken out of the prison with the neck chain still on them in the middle of a forest.
