fading in the light; a poem made by @dollgutzz (lia) i am the girl who fades in sunlight my laughter loud but never enough to pull him from someone else’s orbit i collect glimpses of love like broken glass hold them close feel the sting anyway he holds her hand i pretend not to notice write letters in my head to a heart that will never read them maybe being second-best is a kind of forever and maybe forever hurts this much
i wrote this today & i hope you guys enjoy it. its a poem about being the second best and it is towards a guy. ^_^ i really do find joy in writing poems and i express my feelings through words.
