I got Calista from her paddock and tacked her up, then led her into the arena and mounted her. For a warmup, we did some transitions and canter circles, before heading out to the cross-country course. Calista did amazing, and she managed to cross the river near the waterfall without spooking! After heading back and dismounting at the arena, I took off Calista's tack and gave her a brush before setting her free in her paddock. I gave her an apple which I think she enjoyed a lot! I think Dani got a bit jealous because she came over after Calista trotted off and demanded a treat, and gobbled the apple in a single mouthful, which was.... icky. Overall, I think Calista did great today!
