Changes to Rangerhood + Reporting for early warriorhood

TWs for Caps and mentions of murder and injury Hello all cats of Urchinclan! It has come to my attention that the rank of ranger isn’t really a fun rank at the moment. This is mainly because of the fact that it revolves around cats getting trained in the dark forest, something that can happen before a cat even becomes a ranger, so! I’m going to be changing it. A cat becomes a ranger when they become 12 moons old, and they will gain the suffix of -ear. They will also be given a red spiderlily as an unofficial accessory. When they become a warrior, either by completing any of these tasks or waiting for three weeks, this spider lily will be ripped apart by Marlinstar during the Warriorhood ceremony. The biggest change I’m making here is that yes you can still be a ranger for three weeks, but if you want to become a warrior earlier, you can do so now! METHOD ONE: PROVE YOURSELF TO THE DARK FOREST Make sure your cat will go to the dark forest by choosing to.. > Attack (roll to fight) three different clanmates or > Commit Murder or > Attack two starclan followers for following starclan (with proof that they did) or > Steal 12 prey from another clan or > Convince three cats outside of the clan to follow the dark forest METHOD TWO: PROVE YOURSELF TO URCHINCLAN Make sure your cat does a grand feat that will help Urchinclan as a whole > Convince four cats with over 10 exp to join the clan or > Convince three cats with over 20 exp to join the clan or > Convince two cats with over 30 exp to join the clan or > Convince a cat with over 100 exp to join the clan (gonna keep this one here for a very cool woah good job) > patrol 10 times of any sort > Defeat two weekly predators METHOD THREE: PROVE YOURSELF TO THE LEADER (MARLINSTAR) If this Ranger system continues after Marlinstar, then this section is subjective to whichever leader comes next > tell Marlinstar two important things your cat has learned from another group > have or gain 30 exp or > Kill a former Urchinclan cat (with permission) > Win an arena fight > Rat out traitors/starclan followers When a ranger completes one of the above mentioned tasks, they will submit evidence and stuff to me using this form: Name | Method | Task | Proof (links to a project or to relevant comments) | Preferred warrior name (optional) Not doing this will make you stuck with the ear suffix and lower than warriors on prey priority for three weeks. If you completed any Dark Forest method tasks or have proved yourself to the leader during your apprenticehood you will be made a warrior early.
