A strange dark entity lurking in Redd's little cabin where he stores some of his own SCPs finds salvation after discovering the SCP foundation knows about a cult. He goes to the foundation undetected and finds Redd's assignments being written out by Mr. Smithsburg, the manager of the site Redd works at. When the Mr. Smithsburg left for lunch break, the pen's shadow started moving on it's own, which caused the pen to float into the air without any physical manipulation. Redd finally gets his first off-site research activity, about a dangerous cult group called The Garden of Aconite. It was quite strange to him on how the foundation would let him do research on very dangerous anomalies OUTSIDE the site already, even though he was head researcher he had no prior experience to working off-site. Nevertheless, he did a good amount of research until he realized one of the members of the cult was exactly like he was, except, without the diamond skin. Due to his curiosity, he became obsessed with researching this organization and what it does to connect with these strange entities, but little did Redd know, he had just contracted one himself. A god of darkness and void, a being only made of the absence of being, and a force that hid in every single corner, the shadow cube, and it had finally found it's conduit. Redd was now so indulged into the cult, he was practically a part of it, did the same things they did, followed the same things they did... or was it the other way around? They were not much different than he was, personality, appearance, motives, goals, struggles, experiences, EVERYTHING. Was it really different if he was added? How would he keep this a secret from a foundation that sees all? who is the real god here?
SCP Canon: episode 3 I did NOT know I could draw human hands like that using vector tools. I should start recreating my art style irl (as in paper sketches) on computer. I worked for 2 hours on this piece of art, please don't plagiarize... (I mean, why would you, this is really only significant to Red Diamond's lore so...)
