I completely gave up on this last year in October, but since I don't want 14 unshared projects on my account and also throw all this work out of the window I thought I might as well post the unfinished thing anyways. Also uh absolutely horrible story down there. Story: After the surprising success of the “Omega” model, Alter labs wanted to make an even better version of it, capitalizing on the Chimeravids. It would be faster, stronger, even more "perfect" than the previous iteration. After many months of arduous studies and experiments, Alter labs created the "Nova" model. It was much faster and powerful, though slightly less durable compared to its predecessor. It also had a recently created experimental feature where the Chimeravid would alter the host mentally, giving them increased reaction time, processing speed, and overall intelligence. This however, would quickly prove to be a fatal mistake. When the volunteer’s soul was inserted into the finalised prototype during testing at the Fukushima branch facility, the mind altering feature malfunctioned, causing the prototype to go berserk. It slaughtered almost all the employees present in the test and tore down the facility effortlessly, flying outside and bringing chaos upon the citizens. Fortunately, the Nova prototype was struck down by the military, ending its rampage for good after an estimated 31 minutes of activation. In the aftermath of the incident, a total of 24 people were killed, and 11 were injured. The event would cause a deep hatred for Chimeravids to fester in the public eye, especially for the families of the victims. Due to this, Chimeravid hosts would gain great shame and heavy insults for their bodies, some even trying to transfer themselves back to their human form. Unfortunately, most have failed, a small amount even having resulted in the host’s death. It would take multiple months for the public just to begin to heal and move on from the tragic event. Alter labs would later perfect the Nova model, completely removing the mentally changing effect, making advancements in its speed along with multiple other physical traits. Though the Nova model was objectively superior to the Omega in almost every perspective, some citizens still bought the latter due to its cheaper price and less controversial history.
This is a "sequel" to this https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1231134823/ Also idk why I used Nova it just seemed like the best candidate
