I am making this to bring light onto something I have started to notice. while I do appreciate that new users are finding out (and sometimes creating) projects based on older things like nyan cat, I feel it is ironic because their actions make them sound nostalgic but they are commonly very young, yet say they they want it back and pretend its the best thing ever. often we have them bine it with lgbtq stuff just because it had a rainbow color or something of that nature it makes me have a feeling of disappointment as if they don't understand the main idea of said thing, and its almost as if they feel nostalgic over something they likley did not expirence. and that makes me frustrated. to me its like they are trying to fit in with something that they are not and people who have actually seen this when they were younger did not obsess over it nearly this much and we don't care much or even think about it that often, yet they seem the complete opposite.
