This is the Sofrisat Engine - comes from a comment which has the words "So Friggin' Satisfying" in it. It is a 100% Pen, One-Sprite engine which can draw basic geometry using vectors, a.k.a lines with origins, directions and lengths. Controls (PC only): W - Thrust A - Turn Anticlockwise D - Turn Clockwise Space - Fire blaster T - Toggle settings menu If Control Mode is 1, the ship will face the mouse pointer, otherwise, will control with A and D. Try funny mode! Removes the direct line drawing and replaces it with drawing x axis then y axis. The Instructions variable represents the number of instructions being executed per frame. To streamline execution, I have decoded information for all sprites and text and stars, and compiled them into basic instructions to be quickly processed. They are: PUP - Pen up PDN - Pen down COL - Change Pen Colour and any other data is assumed to be points on the screen. And did I mention I made my own text engine? Well I did! Cool! It runs remarkably fast, which is a lovely example of the pros and cons between vector and bitmap graphics. For comparison, see my 100% Pen tile engines. This is faster and scalable, but with less detail, unlike the tile engine. CREATED BY @MR_KNOXMAN
