______________________ Guess who! Hey everybody! I’ve been gone for a long time, and I’m not really coming back to scratch, but I desperately needed an excuse to make something that was entirely for fun (that wouldn’t require me to face the condemnation of Instagram’s algorithm). If any of you spend time on Instagram these days, especially as an artist just breaking into the field, you’ll know it’s absolute chaos out there. I haven't had much luck with it myself, but I’m aching to establish myself in the professional art world, and unfortunately Scratch isn’t part of that landscape, which is why I gave it up in the first place, but, it is a nice, familiar place where I can land when things get too rough. Anywho, here’s a simple animation I did this past weekend in Procreate. It’s the first animation I’ve completed in over a year (at least), and took me 18 horribly long hours despite being only 8 frames. It was a good reminder why I gave up animation in place of illustration and painting, but I’m glad I did it.
I may or may not continue to make lazy projects here and there, but I also may not. I want to say that even though I don’t post here anymore, I read every single comment, and appreciate them all! On days when it’s rough in the “professional” art world, I come back to read your guys comments to give me a boost of confidence. They put a smile on my face every time! I thank you guys for your support, even now that I’ve been gone so long, and I hope you enjoy this little neck breaker of mine. ;) ____________ You guys are welcome to abuse this animation, cuz I know that scratch loves a good run cycle. Remix it, reuse it, use it as a base, whatever. Someone may as well use it cuz it’s of no use to me on my other platforms.
