SO FAR: ~ Basic collisions were added to enemies, but they lack pathfinding. ~ A bug was fixed where dying from a monster made you immune to more monsters. ~ When you die, the pumpkins you collected don’t respawn, and neither do enemies. ~ Lasers now stay off for half a second longer. ~ A checkpoint system was implemented. ~ The developers’ names in the credits were changed to 12. ~ A bug was fixed where bullets sometimes went straight through enemies. ~ Monsters no longer show a walk animation when next to a wall. ~ Sound effects for enemy death and checkpoints were added. ~ The crosshair changes to gray when you can’t shoot a bullet. ~ Debug mode now has a few useful features, such as increased player speed, the ability to go through walls, and immunity. ~ Ghosts were added, which can go through walls. ~ Only one enemy can die per shot, otherwise, you could kill three enemies at once. ~ Level 1 was expanded significantly. ~ When webs hit lasers, they deactivate. ~ Another background music track was added. ~ Enemies were made faster. ~ The laser on and off start time was adjusted to different times. ~ Sideways laser types were added. ~ All jittery movement caused by non-tangible costumes was fixed. This was due to a set volume block inside a run without screen refresh custom block. Set volume blocks are like wait 0 blocks. They cause small amounts of lag inside runs without screen refresh blocks. ~ A skeleton that can shoot arrows was added. ~ Checkpoints now have costumes, and particles have been added to them. ~ Some “dividers” were added that indicate how many pumpkins you need to pass that part of the level. ~ A template for a boss fight was created, but the boss mechanics were not added yet.
