Random drawings of Moonpaw, mainly just for design elements !!!IMPORTANT NOTES!!!! [SCROLL DOWN TO SEE] -moonpaw- -VERY COMPLICATED IF NOT EXPLAINED -look at page 7 for face details -*long explanation, please scroll down to read* -head designs are generally exaggerated in drawings. 5-7 have realistic details -pallet for colors on page 8 -fullbody reference is inaccurate for head design -just look at 5-7 for the head ;-; don’t even ask why I made the design. I wasn’t thinking. Page explanation 1. Thumbnail lol 2. Anthro(first drawing I found when compiling so it’s first) 3. Fullbody reference(head it innacurate) 4. Another drawing(black fur is exaggerated) 5. Shaded drawing 6. Added some references 7. Head reference 8. Colors *long explanation* When I first designed moonpaw, I didn’t think about how it would actually work out. That left me in a bad position later. Actually last night was when I first worked out how the fur pattern work. 1st, the white semicircle on his face when he looks left. EXTREMLY EXAGGERATED! Page 7 shows how it would really look. It would be much smaller, and if at the right angle, because of the 3d cat face, you might see some more black/dark gray. Essentially, he has a head that is pretty much completly black, except for the white crescent shape on the front of his face that continues to the back. The black head has white on one more spot, the left jawline. It’s pretty much just a little splotch that shows up on the side of his face. In addition, his black fur ends up being pretty much only on his head, except for a part that trails down his back and his black paws. This ends up with the white splotch seeing like and extension of the white of his body, but if explaining where it is, it’s explained as a splotch in the middle of his black face. In short the theory of the design is great, but the ACTUAL design is complicated and a really big pain. Most of the drawings are exaggerated with the design. 5-7 are the only drawings with realistic details of how the head fur patterns merge seamlessly to the fur patterns on his body. When I say black I mean dark gray or dark blue-ish gray. In reality he’s black and white, but when drawing him I draw light blue and dark gray/blue.
All art by me And character too lol I DREW THE CHARACTER LIKE A YEAR AND A HALF AGO WHEN I COULDNT DRAW TO SAVE MY LIFE! AND WHEN I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DESIGN STUFF!!!!!
