Some of my friends and I are making a new studio: Plasmaplex Studios We will use Unreal Engine for most of our 3D games, which uses C++. This programming language (C++) is used in many 3D games. Examples include Fortnite, Minecraft Bedrock Edition, Horizon Forbidden West, and many others. Fortnite uses Unreal Engine, which is made by Epic Games. The good news is that Unreal Engine is free, unless you make more than a million dollars from your game. The logo doesn’t really represent anything. It’s just supposed to look cool. But I guess the white part could represent the games, the orange stripe is the uniqueness of the games, and the red crescent shape is the quality. I made the logo in Canva, which was a very bad idea. The vector tools in Canva were horrible; they only had a few basic shapes you could use. There wasn’t even a right-angled triangle! Anyway, I made it using a combination of circles and lines. I’ll probably recreate the logo in Inkscape or something. You can say suggestions or any advice you have in the comments. Also, does the logo look good? Anyways, because of this, I won’t be using Scratch as much anymore. In other words, I am moving from Scratch to text programming languages. There are many reasons for this. Scratch has many limitations and is very slow, so making a good game requires you to find ways to overcome those limitations. For example, you can’t bring a sprite fully off the stage, so you have to put some invisible rectangles in your sprite to make Scratch think your sprite is bigger than it actually is. I have many unfinished projects, but they got so complicated that I stopped working on them. If you want, I could publish those unfinished projects. I’d like to share how I came to Scratch: First, I got Tynker on mobile. It was decent. I made many games on there. But a friend told me about Scratch, and I tried it out. I ended up liking it much better than Tynker.
