The syndrix gate finally collapsed but even after warnings a small ship was left in the gate, during its collapse the ship was compressed to an infinitly small point making a black hole just outside of the aurora system. scans have shown its slowly approaching the system. it has already disrupted the kuiper belt. its currently a "light week" away LORE: basically the syndrix is a ripple in space time, when entered time for everything else in the universe slows down for you. that ripple is not a physical thing so when it collapses nothing happens, but if something is in it, its gets crushed into a singularity and forms a black hole
