She was the kind who always finished missions early, quiet and methodical, earning a rep as “the ghost with a heartbeat.” On one mission, Vexia was sent to extract data from a hidden enemy facility deep underground. Everything went smoothly—until it didn’t. Someone on the inside sold her out (someone you'll see soon ;3). She tried her best to get away, but then the ceiling collapsed.... When she woke up, she was in a G.U.N. recovery lab. And she had to get a prosthetic leg. After that mission, Vexia decides to quit working for G.U.N. and start a new life with the resistance, and later on joins the Diamond Cutters (From the IDW comic)
