As part of my birthday, I decided to release unfinished projects. Here's one of them. a remake of the original The Box: The Game, canceled because it was overcomplicated and had lots of issues, hopefully this makes up for it. You as a dark gray box will have to go through worlds (not really just a bunch of genres put together)! Try to finish each one! Keys: You can use WASD or the Arrow Keys to move. W or Up Key to interact with worlds (must be inside of it) 1 to boost (for now, will be as a permanent skill)
the game is actually called the box the game: VOID EXPANSION (can be seen in thumbnail archives too), it was originally just a fixed version of The Box: The Game (the original that's canceled) called the box: the game, which is why The Void and the following places seem weird to navigate. VOID EXPANSION is literally just turning the void into a generic platformer style hub and replacing/adding new worlds. It also EXPANDS the void by adding additional things such as (and it will happen): skills, shops, the box maker, the little settinglees, da thing things from the original depreciated from this: Challenge Mode - The game was already a challenge. I don't think anybody wanted a challenge mode The Box Trilogy: made as a project. Instructions: not in the game, but in the project instructions. Crash Scratch: comedy, but useless and stated that it'll break the terms of use Easy Mode: game is already toned down in difficulty. Debug: No. well at least not this time Minigames: did nothing to it, quick game test might've gotten a chance though Speedrun Mode: same to this The Box Maker: I might add it? a ton of worlds from the previous game were removed. Why? Too hard. A few aren't, like clicker and generic platformer. Those were easy enough to stay unfinished worlds explained: world 2: quiz, basically like 10 or so questions and that's it world 4: generic platformer, I think i'll just copy and paste from old version with new levels world 7: quick game test but with new the box characters world 8: testing 2, like testing from the original game like uhh you uhh "find the way" world 9: get bobux, it was the first world which was already difficult and since both games are using a "platformer engine", also it connects lore from something else which through various roads should make it easier overall I rushed on this project and I can say its working fine
