(prompts by @-Quillow-) Yes yes, I've been doing OCtober over the month and have waited until this day to finally share the project Each day will have the day number, the prompt, names of characters/things involved, and some notes about the art 1. Newest OC Chimekit!! I love this sweet little boy so so much, he was the reason I actually wanted to start this. The background matches that coloring of one of his eyes too, which I thought was a pretty cute detail 2. Most Popular OC Carnationstar, my darling... oh how much I love her, it's wild. I covered her eyes in this drawing for a lore reason... take a gamble as to what it is if you wish. A crown of stardust (and just stardust floating around her) now adorns her head as well 3. Control Shine and Hemlockstar, but at the time of drawing this he was Hemlockcackle. I thought this would be interesting to draw their dynamic with Shine being the puppet, which actually describes how sun took control of Hem's body for a few days... oh how I love the possession power :) (Hemlock is owned by @Cloversight) 4. Family Carnationstar and Orchid-dusk felt so fitting, as they're basically two opposites. Cari was in the spotlight, while Orchid felt drowned. And now, even in death, they're split by the borders that keep them apart eternally (Orca is owned by @Cloversight) 5. Soul I just thought it would be nice to draw Dapplepaw, this one doesn't really have much meaning to it 6. Regrets and loss Cherrysong is perfect for this, as she had lost so much and felt such deep regrets well into her death. Another character with their eyes covered... interesting 7. Two sides of the same coin Clover convinced me to draw this one, but I couldn't resist drawing one of my oldest RP characters. Frostypaw and Wolfpaw fit this dynamic perfectly, and the way they're swirling around each other is just perfect (Wolf is owned by @Cloversight) 8. Tomb Oleanderlament, Turtlesmile, Thrillseeker. This was drawn just a few days after the latter two had died, so it felt right to represent Ollie's mourning through my art... you can see the darkness covering Turtle and Thrill, calling them to the Dark Forest, while Oleander remains lit and alive (Thrill is owned by ) (Turtle is owned by ) 9. Feeling better Dapplepaw again, I just love her. This was drawn to show her right after she had finally accepted that she was dead, nothing else really 10. Beautiful It seemed obvious which cat this had to be. Carnationstar is by far my prettiest character, and she was just the perfect character to draw 11. Theme song "See the stars above you shining, guiding you along" The lyrics are mostly hidden by Chime, but you can still see them here. I really had the best idea for how I could draw this, so it was a pretty obvious decision for me 12. Wholesome Kalopsia, Radiant, Fiddle, and Chime, seen from left to right. The SweetSyllable kits!! I love their sibling relationship, it was so perfect for this (Fiddle is owned by ) (Radiant is owned by ) (Kalopsia is owned by ) 13. Demonic Shine. Shine. Shine. My only Dark Forest member was a perfect candidate for this :) 14. Spoiler Alert Yeah, Oleander is NOT fine :D 15. AU Cherry and Kiwi!! This would've been if Cherrysong and Kiwisplash hadn't ended things on such bad terms when the latter was killed by his mother. Oh what a shame... (Kiwi is owned by ) 16. Fury Angy Oleander... I just love the pose, there isn't much else lol 17. Triumph I was really running out of ideas, if you couldn't tell lol. However, Chime felt like the perfect candidate for this because his personality focused on exactly what I wanted for this drawing, and it ended up flowing together somewhat perfectly 18. Forgiveness Can you imagine? Oleander and Hemlock... finally making up on the MossClan/UrchinClan border, but was each party truly forgiven? (Hem is owned by ) 19. Detailed UrchinClan territory... I like drawing rocks :) 20. Unreasonable This was the first drawing I did of him with his foot scar, however this depicts when he took the life of another victim, finding this murder to be unreasonable and uncalled for. He doesn't really regret it though 21. Goofy OLEANDERBOWTIE He canonically has a few bowtie colors, and, after the last drawing, the red one fit perfectly with this. He also technically has sparkles, but they don't appear much cont. in n&c
cont. 22. Evil Shine and Oleanderlament My two evil characters, but they still reflect different things. Shine is more manipulative, only using her claws when a cat gets in her way. She's displayed with a frown, trapped forever by the Dark Forest's grasp. Oleanderlament, however, prefers either charm or brute force. It's usually one or the other with him lol, however I drew him with the smile he hides the blood on his paws with. They both have a red filter over their eyes, displaying this so-called "evilness" in a hint of blood 23. Forsaken I totally didn't have to look this word up, however I described Dapplepaw wandering the deserted and abandoned star trail between StarClan's grounds and the Outerlands she lives in 24. Comparison I actually love this so much. It's Carnationstar with a small spray over her eye to reveal Cherrysong shining down on her. Her grandmother has never stopped watching over her, even now that they're both dead. It just displays their relationship so perfectly and ah I love it so much 25. What if... Oleanderstar. With sparkles dotting his cheeks, he, in this what-if universe, leads UrchinClan with pride after being elected from the party 26. Class Class makes me think of ordered ranks Lower ranks, middle ranks, and higher ranks More specifically, the higher ranks remind me of class, royalty being one of them. The crown adorns Carnationstar's head, and she still reigns as the leader even if she is no longer alive to lead 27. Failure The ultimate failure to Oleanderlament... being one with StarClan's ranks. That would never happen though, right? 28. Trench With feelings, it means being stuck in a deep, repetitive struggle. This fits perfectly with Oleanderlament, as he's doing his best, but it doesn't always work out how he would have preferred... this is his struggle, what he has to overcome before the next stage of his life can begin 29. Habitat I thought it would be fun to draw each of the territories From left to right: MossClan, FlurryClan, UrchinClan 30. Memory It's been so, so long since I've last roleplayed as a dragon or even just drawn them, so it felt nice to recall the memory of this sweet little boy. I love Fluorite with all of my heart, he's such a baby 31. Party Dapplepaw in costume for Halloween I chose for her to be a monarch butterfly, not only because it fit her color palette really well, but also because these particular butterflies represent transformation, change, and endurance. She has endured so much, and has watched the world change and transform from what it had been in her living days. Dapple, however, wouldn't change it for anything. She loves what the Clans have become, because this is her home
