Previous updates here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1203280576/ 10/31/2025 ********************************************************************* Happy Halloween! Still no CC cast list, so I'm not sure if I can tell you my role just yet. We've shared the information with some of our friends, but I'm not sure we should post on social media-ish stuff yet. :\ But ANYWAY, rehearsals have been going well! Mostly we've been learning music, but I did learn some choreography on Tuesday. I'm excited for tonight! I'm going over to a friend's house for a Halloween party, which I can't remember ever doing, so this might be my first Halloween party! I'm dressing up as Waldo. What's your costume? :D I took a biology test yesterday and I am hoping and praying that I got a good score. It was open book, open notes though, so I'm probably not doomed. :') 11/1/25 ********************************************************************* Last night's party was super fun! We went trick-or-treating to a lot of houses, and I probably had way too much sugar lol. I did have to leave a little bit early because I had to finish getting mostly ready for MY BIKE RACE TODAY! Yay!!! Two and a half hours away... :') I'm excited! It's the ✨championships✨ which sounds like only the best of the best can attend but it's just the bike people's way of saying that it's the last race of the season. Because it's the last race of the season, there might be some special stuff going on but idk for sure. I wonder if the team will go out for dinner together again. I hope so! :D Updates: No team dinner. Oh well. HOLY. CRAP. That trail is HARD. Now I know why the bikers from here are so freaking good. Most of the time my "win" is not placing dead last, but this time I'll be satisfied as long as I don't get a DNF. This race is gonna take me like, two hours. This is ridiculous. :') Anyways, I'll let you know how it goes next visit! 11/27/25 ********************************************************************* The bike race went pretty well! I placed 16/25 or so with a time of around 1:05. The weather was absolutely lovely, and when I say that I mean it was cold. Compare that to my previous bike race. Home course, 90°F weather. And I got a time of under 50 minutes. The fact that the championships, took me 15 minutes more is a testament to how stupidly hard the trail—which was the exact same length as the home course—is. But it was fun!! CC cast list is out, and I'm so excited to tell ya'll that I got the part of Martha Cratchit! And that biology test I mentioned? I got 104/100. I'm so smart. ;3 Bike season is over, which I'm kinda bummed about, but it's ok. I did get to go to a bike end-of-season party on Saturday (and I went to a Beetlejuice cast party right after) and it was awesome! And I got a little bike ornament decoration thingamabob because I (and the other two girls in my team) did good in a scavenger hunt :D I have one more week of my co-op and then I get to have about a month of winter break! Yay! Hopefully I don't have to do too much homework lol. Happy Thanksgiving! 12/1/25 ********************************************************************* Oh my gosh it's December already?? That's crazy. Time flies by, doesn't it? It's funny, you know, my brain has a specific time system of its own. Up until 12PM, time goes nice and slow, and then it flies by and I end up panicking because it's the end of the day and I've barely gotten anything done. My sense of time has been pretty weird. Once I thought it was Wednesday for three days straight. I made a brochure (about Bystander Effect, which I will gladly yap about if you ask me to) as part of my health homework, and I think it turned out pretty good, given that it was my first one. I had to print it twice because the first one's interior was upside down because I didn't realize that I needed to turn on this one specific printer setting. When it was time to fold it, I think I folded it ok overall. Not perfect, but if you're just reading it normally, I don't think you'll notice anything. I have another biology test in a few days, and I'm kinda worried because I've set such a high standard for myself with that first one, and I feel like I need to keep getting more-than-perfect scores. As long as the test is like the last one, though, I should be fine. That's a lot of schoolwork yap. Hate to admit it, but I think I'm actually enjoying myself at my new co-op. Anyways, yesterday a bunch of castmates and I waited in line to see Santa and hand him a flier for Christmas Carol. We're COMPLETELY normal, don't worry. Everyone does that sort of thing. :P Most of the cast was in the vicinity earlier to sing a few songs from the show in front of people, and some of us stayed to ride the Ferris Wheel and watch the giant Christmas tree light up (and see Santa (see above)). See ya'll on Christmas Day! :D
