Sorry if that was darker (yet darker) for scratch :) The au above me, by @Luna_Ducky, is about the Iliad, one of the two Homeric epics (it’s Greek mythology) Also this is just an idea, it’s not a draft or anything, it’s just an idea I had :) These are the important people, Ody and Dio won’t be appearing, sorry guys :( ———— Cassandra - princess of Troy, cursed prophet, she was cursed by Apollo, the sun god because she rejected him (she would not date him, idk how accurate I am here) Nyx - Cassandra’s disguise (Her fake backstory is that she was a just a girl of Lyrnessus, not royal, but she was taken by Achilles, her father was killed by Achilles, her brother had to fight in the war, and she was taken as a war prize by Achilles) Artemis - the moon goddess, sister to Apollo Hector - crown prince of Troy, Cassandra’s brother (and pride of Troy) Andromache - Hector’s wife Helen - the most beautiful woman of Greece and queen of sparta (NOTE: Helen, Andromache and Cassandra are best friends, and are a trio) Paris - prince of Troy, kidnapped Helen from Sparta Achilles - demigod child of thetis, kills hector Patroclus - best friend of Achilles, killed by hector Menelaus - husband of Helen Agamemnon - brother to Menelaus and king of Mycenae Priam - king of Troy ———— When the war between Troy and Greece began, Cassandra kept getting disturbing visions of the fall of her city, Troy, and the death of her brother, Hector. One day, she decided to pray to Artemis, goddess of the hunt and wilderness, because she wanted to try changing the fate of Troy. Artemis appeared in front of her, and accepted Cassandra’s offer (I’m not sure why, but it may be because she just wants to make Apollo mad, or it may be because she doesn’t want girls to suffer, I’m not sure). Cassandra tells Artemis her plan, which was that Artemis would disguise her as a slave of Achilles, and when she is not in Troy or the Greek camp, there would be decoys to replace her (the decoys act exactly like Cassandra, so nobody can tell the difference). Cassandra would go to the camp and try to get herself on Achilles’ good side. Then when the time comes where Agamemnon takes briseis and Achilles stops fighting, she would try convincing him to fight again. Artemis approves and they start working together. ———— Artemis and Cassandra have been doing this for years, Cassandra has successfully got Achilles to care about her and like her, but she doesn’t only become friends with Achilles, she also becomes friends with Patroclus, Menelaus, Odysseus, and Diomedes. One day, Achilles walks into camp, telling his warriors not to fight. This is Cassandra’s cue to start convincing him to fight again, but instead of succeeding, Achilles doesn’t fight, and Patroclus offers to fight for him in Achilles armor. Cassandra tries to convince Patroclus not to fight, she fails there too. If you guys haven’t already guessed what happened, Patroclus dies, Achilles cries and rage kills a bunch of Trojans, yea, Cassandra tried convincing him not to rage kill. When she tried to talk to Achilles, he pushed her with full force, so she couldn’t try again. When Achilles comes back after killing many people (including Hector), Cassandra comes back and tries her best to fight him, she almost wins, but she stops fighting because Achilles can still be useful of her plan (she tells Achilles a fake story about her fake family, and how Achilles killed them all, she had a whole fake backstory planned at the beginning, when she first arrived, so Achilles could feel something, her father was killed during the sacking of Lyrnessus, her mother died of a broken heart, her brother was killed by Achilles. She leaves, Artemis uses the decoy of Nyx to act as Cassandra while she is gone. ———— When Cassandra gets back to the palace of Troy, she either cries to Helen and Andromache, or she goes straight to bed. When she wakes up, she makes a plan with Helen and Andromache, so they can try to convince Paris to return Helen back to Menelaus. Since Paris is also really sad because of Hector, they can convince him easily, but that that easily, it’s would be much harder if he wasn’t sad. They get Paris to agree, but Aphrodite won’t release Helen yet, so Artemis needs to convince some gods, as well as Aphrodite, to get Helen to leave. Artemis is successful, but Zeus tells her that she cannot intervene with anyone until the war is over, and only after Cassandra is dead. Cassandra tells Priam about this, and he declares that the war is over. After 12 days of truce, Agamemnon takes Cassandra, and no one can do anything, Achilles tries, menelaus tries, Helen and Andromache try, but they all fail. Cassandra goes with Agamemnon, and they are both killed by his wife, Clytemnestra. ———— Since Cassandra dies, Artemis can now intervene, she takes her up to the stars as a constellation so Cassandra can be remembered forever. ———— That got dark really fast
Whenever Cassandra is at Troy, she is Cassandra, and whenever she is at the Greek camp, she is Nyx. The same thing applies for the decoy. The only reason why Cassandra’s disguise is unrecognizable is because Artemis made it like that :3 The Cassandra (and nyx) ref is mine, the other one was very plain, so I changed it up a bit :3 I used Ceroba as a reference just for this, nyx doesn’t wear kimonos, I mainly just gave her ceroba’s clothes because she may or may not try to fight Achilles in this au The references are inside the project, there are multiple versions of the Nyx Ceroba thing:) I showed this drawing to my Paati (grandma) And she said my Cassandra looked like Draupati from the Mahabharata :D I am basing these designs of people I know I haven’t made my design for the Hindu epics :) But this is also Draupati because my Paati said so :3 I will change it up But I’m keeping the hair :) Anyways Here you go :3 (Sorry if any of this sounded rude)
