Smash that spacebar or feverishly jab those arrow keys to navigate these slides while the music plays like your life depends on it. (Trust me, mine might.) Huge, shoutout to the original song’s wizard, @BDstudent6a, for the melody that started it all. I’ve heroically (and quite questionably) remixed it in GarageBand, tossing in samples I bravely recorded with the built-in audio sampler... because who needs professional equipment when you have... my enthusiasm? Now, before rumors start flying off the mill, let me just clarify something really fast: Michael Rosen’s voice is featured prominently throughout this mix. He’s fine. Absolutely fine. I mean, sure, he’s… here… in spirit... but rest assured... that's only because I “borrowed” his voice samples. I mean, it’s not like we kidnapped him off the streets or anything crazy like that! No, no, it’s just… we, uh, we got really, really lucky. Yeah, that’s it! Just pure… luck. Totally normal luck! (Chances are… if you happened to hear what sounds like him faintly whispering for help under the heavy instrumental solos… it was just some very experimental ambience. Adds depth. We often call that “texture” in the biz if I am not mistaken.) Oh... and about that... uh... thumping sound coming from the locked crate over there in the corner behind the screen for this project, that’s just... classic reverb. Really deep, authentic, organic reverb. You know, part of the sound design process. So, no need to, like, call anyone to open it or anything. Seriously. Everything’s completely under control… Artistically speaking. Anyways... to really capture Cop Ichika’s iconic vocal vibe, I slapped on some voice filters. Do they work? I'm honestly not sure. But hey... that’s where you come in... drop your brutally honest, soul-crushing feedback in the comments. I can take it. Probably... Anyways... I'm wiped. I was up working on this cover with some jam session buddies non-stop since 4:30 AM. Until next time! (No poets were harmed in the making of this song. You have my word!)
