Hi! Here i tried adding the unused loop for metalic madness into its song! If you didn't know, the loop i'm talking about is, back when they were developing sonic cd In Japan (I think) they made loops for the beta that never actually got into the game. They were little short bits that would play before the music, kinda making the song sound like a loop ingame. Loops are important because most games have to loop the music or people would probably get bored, because music is a crucial part of games, maybe even more crucial than the game itself! Music can exspress feelings, and give any media charm. But the loops probably didn't get used because the music could already loop without it.
