so like theres some context behind this song. the challenge in lcfem 13 takes place in a vr game. one person is chosen to be "the killer" their job is to murder the other contestants before they detect them the killer (IT'S LEFTY!! IT'S LEFTY!¡!) very quickly realizes that he can bend the world of the game and the minds of the other players to his will (wow.. that kinda reminds me of another piece of media that takes place in a simulation.. where the characters can become gods after discovering forbidden knowledge.. i just... can't put my finger on it! maybe you oldheads can help me..) the scenes where lefty alters reality are very much inspired by it (the movie) and the ice cream man comics. also they're an obvious homage to cost. this song in particular is intended for a scene where lefty tries to manipulate door's mind by reminding him of his awful childhood in an attempt to make him feel bad for himself. self-pity is going to be a major theme of this episode. also theres a part of the scene where door has an ice cream cone and it starts rotting and spiders crawl out of it cool wow wow this song is pretty experimental and is my first attempt at a very specific style. idk if it worked.
