It is about a girl named Ruby who has anger issues. After a particularly bad argument with her brother -where she wishes he would just explode -she goes to sleep seething. In the morning, she discovers she has a new ability. She has the ability to explode something when she's angry. But she quickly realizes she has no control over this. Whoever or whatever she is angry with explodes. She has to control her anger to make sure that none of her friends and family gets hurt and that no one discovers her new ability.
