Warning for De@th Vulturewatcher stalked around the mountain base of the vanishing peaks, a ritual he performed everyday. Eyes focused he hunted, waiting for movement. Overhead the sky was heavy with dark clouds. The warrior had come out of camp in an effort to find some prey before the eventual storm scared everything away. Of course, there was another reason. Conflict in falconclan had driven him away before and it was doing it again. Vee remembered how Iceclan had torn his clan apart. Nothing had been the same since. Sure, he had pretended for a while that things were the same, but eventually something in him had changed. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a swish of movement. To his disappointment, whipping to face it revealed a small brown butterfly. As the now annoyed warrior turned back to his path the sky opened up. At first the rain was slow, just a few droplets splashing around him, but as time went on it increased. Too quickly the rain had multiplied and Vee found himself searching for shelter, which a cave on the mountainside provided to him. He quickly slipped into it, shaking off the water on his wings. With nothing to do but wait out the storm, the falconcat got to thinking. After Iceclan came Darkstar. How he had hated the old leader. She had been weak, causing the clan into a downward spiral that it had never recovered from. Sacrificing her lives for some stupid reasons that only "starclan" would know. However much he had wanted to do something about the leader's reign Vulturewatcher had done almost nothing to stop her. Well, except for joining the dark forest, even if he hadn't seen it for a while now. Even if those cats were evil, they understood his grievances with the leader and had helped him. The warrior was shaken out of his thoughts by a crash. The harsh light of lightning streaked across his vision. He waited for a few startled heartbeats before relaxing. Still, not everything in Falconclan had been bad. The kits he had adopted were amazing and he had made some friends. Raspberrypaw had been a good friend. They didn't talk much but it was nice to have someone he could come back to and talk with. But his friend had been involved in a recent conflict. Xey had lied to Vee and broken the code, not once but several times. Now xey couldn't be trusted. Lightning struck the air, and an ominous rumbling sounded from the roof of the cave, and suddenly the cave collapsed. In a few long seconds, Vulturewatcher was gone.
