The Nightmare is an Infection-Type series based on Pibby Corruption FNF, The Infection In Scratch, ScMuMy, and Sprunki, with tropes from Sonic.EXE, DDLC, and Starved. The Nightmare is a virus-like substance that looks like a night sky, but flickers fears such as Arachnophobia, and can transform those it infects into twisted versions of themselves with jagged features and heavy injuries, with The Nightmare covering their bodies partially.
OCs, AUs, and Premades are all allowed, as long as you change them into your own take. Infected is when they touch The Nightmare. Characters are allowed to have at least some control over their infected states if powerful enough, more common if they are Antags who have let The Nightmare into other survivors's bases. Also, no matter how OP your character is, remember that The Nightmare is supposed to be a force of dread for like 95% of the series
