I FINALLY GOT THE COURAGE TO BRING UP THE IDEA OF A SERVICE DOG TO MY MOM!!!! I want it for mental problems + some undiagnosed (so id need to get diagnosed lol) medical issues, so the dog can also help me when my body gets weak and i can barely walk and help me to the ground before i black out. I only brought up the dog for one of my mental issues; and guess what: SHE DIDN’T TURN THE IDEA DOWN!!! Im going to have a more in depth conversation with her on tuesday (10-4-25) so we can have it in person. She said she would probably talk to my dad and therapist about it. I’M SO HAPPY!!!! I think this would benefit me a lot so i hope i end up getting one!!!!! I hope I can either train my 70 pound dog that I’ve had for four years (only problem is that would be taking him away from my brother) or adopting one from Little Angels! Training a service dog can take 18-26 months, but it can take anywhere from a couple weeks to 2 years to adopt a dog from Little Angels. Idk. im rlly hoping this works out!!!! And i rlly want a German Shepherd as my service dog :3 ty 4 reading my rant, im js rlly happy and excited + somewhat nervous for this conversation :D WISH ME LUCKKKKK!!!
