FAQ + help —3 . myo form —4. shop + explanation of items & traits —5 .staff info & perks —6. official studio ⋆˙⟡ LORE SUMMARY ⟡˙⋆ —> pre gemfond ; the crystal caves Bold, frankly unwise and greedy panthers once discovered a giant cave on an expedition. This group, consisting of no more than what seemed to be 20, found seemingly 9 giant bright crystal formations, towering to extreme heights and full to the brim of energy and power. They chose to disturb the peace of the caves and uprooted the crystals, realizing each was enough to fuel an entire empire. They split off into their own lands and created 9 separate nations, one of which stayed in the caves. The places were dubbed “gempires”. The crystals were soon angered. They had been ripped from their cave, and with just one crystal pillar left there it was surely dying. The crystals placed a horrible curse on the group of unsuspecting panthers; causing they themselves to slowly become gem, and their young to be completely soulless. Though responsive somehow, without a solution their children and future generations would be to a base definition unliving. Some of the original gemfonds (what they now called themselves) found out that through magic methods, they could bind an artificial soul to an object and have it link with a gemfond child for life. Through means of this, gemfonds also became practically immortal, the only method of getting rid of said gemfond would be to destroy the object with the gemfond’s soul in it. —> gempires + hierarchy All gempires have seemingly become very modern except for the Orange Topaz gemfonds, who were the ones that remained in the caves. The Orange Topaz are almost completely out of contact with the other gempires, minus their sister gempire, being the Purple Topaz. All other gempires seem to keep contact with eachother, though some are closer than others. The Diamonds and the Rubies are rather fond of eachother, and there are a high amount of Opallines in the Gold Leaf gempire. There are very simple social systems in gempires; the three roles being a normal gemfond, an elder gemfond (of which there is just 1 per gempire, except the opallines who have 2) and the gempire leader, only being one. The leaders are all the original finders of their respective crystal and the starters of their gempire. —> the soullation “The soullation” is the process of artificially soulling a gemfond. It happens when the gemfond is about a week or two of age, and at this time they do not have gems anywhere on their bodies. They would look like a normal panther cub with black sclera. The soullation is performed by the elder(s) of the gempire, as they have dedicated their lives to harnessing and mastering their respective crystals abilities along with each gempires leader. The event occurs next to the gempires crystal, and rather than birth that is technically considered the gemfond cubs birthday. (Better known as a Soulday.) This is also where the gemfond recieves their gem protrusions across their body, as the elders using the crystals magic slightly angers said crystal, causing the crystal to effect the susceptible child. It turns only their bones into said gem, rather than more of them as how the leaders and elders turned up. Horn-like gemstones will emerge from their heads, as well as other rib-like gems on their sides. Certain mutations can occur, some being more or less common, like certain horn-like shapes and others like wings and hooves even. ⋆˙⟡ FAQ + HELP ⟡˙⋆ —> Frequently Asked Questions Q. What is a “MYO”? A. MYO stands for Make Your Own, which basically means someone else has a species that you can make a design from (following the right rules of course.) Q. Am I allowed to make a baby gemfond? A. Not sure why you’d want to, I may add an option later but for now it’s no. Q. Am I allowed to make a leader gemfond? An elder gemfond? A. No, you are not. I’m working on all the gempires leader designs at the moment actually ^_^ Q. How do I obtain a gemfond myo?* A. You’ll get the first one for free, a common myo + an unusual trait by hearting the project. Other than that the only way to obtain myos is via purchase with DA points, though I’ll definitely do raffles etc later. Close friends and Staff members may also be granted extra MYOs! Q. What are all the items in the shop for? How do I purchase them? How do I register? A. These will all be answered in the shop section of the desc. Q. What is the code word? A.
