What would she find today? A beetle? A ladybug? Whatever it was, Sage would find it! Feather was an amazing bug hunter. Crawling throughout the nursery, she spotted a butterfly. "It won't see me coming..." they whispered. Stalking the bug they examined the designs on its wings. She could make out colorful splotches doting it throughout. "So pretty..." Bell meowed in astonishment. Before Bell could make a move, an exclamation rose from outside the den. Jumping up in surprise, the startled bug flew away. Sagekit whimpered. It was gone. Research [] Intersex is when a person's (or cats in this case) chromosomes are not the regular XX or XY for male or female. Changes in genes cause this, and instead of the normal chromosomes people can have X0, XXY, XYY and several other combinations. Being intersex can affect birth, along with children themselves, through usually it will not affect medical conditions of any sort. Some doctors may try to "fix" intersex at birth, but in the end it should be up to the child and parent. This condition is usually in two percent of babies, and doctors are still aiming to understand more. With this character being intersex it may affect their mental experiences. (ex: they might be more depressed, more anxious). Intersex people (or cats) might have hormonal problems and variations in puberty. The most common problems for intersex individuals to have is bone problems a chance of cancer and a couple syndromes including, but not limited to, Swyer syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome and Turner syndrome.
