THIS IS ALL JUST MY OWN THEORIES, NOT CONFIRMED OR EVEN ANNOUNCED I think that the third game should be about the Hollow Knight itself, taking place at the same time as Silksong. It'll probably not actually look like it does in the boss fights in Hollow Knight, since that would be weird in-game, so it'd probably look like it does in the Knight's flashbacks and in the White Palace. It'll probably try to talk, but, like, stutter a lot and stuff. The game will start in the Black Egg, and the Hollow Knight will exit the Black Egg and meet Hornet there, who reacts aggressively (as seen in the end cutscene from the Embrace the Void ending of Hollow Knight!) but chills when she realizes it's not a threat. Some of the Forgotten Crossroads will be the tutorial area, and the Hollow Knight will make his way somewhere idk the rest of the theories are abt gameplay Mechanic theories: since it's a vessel like the Knight, the GP will probably be more similar to that than Silksong, with different moves while holding up or down. Spells: [SPELL]: Pure Needle; shoots out a wave of sharp needles made of pure Soul [SPELL+DOWN]: Pure Drive; holds the button to make a pure shadow move forward, then releases to make a huge pure nail made of Soul shoot out of the ground [SPELL+UP]: Pure Rune; scatters orbs of pure Soul, then causes pure shockwaves out of all of them, and an even larger one at its own location Charged attacks: [NAIL]: Nail Multistrike; swings its nail 3 times in quick succession, moving forward a small amount if nothing is struck each time [NAIL+UP/DOWN]: Void Tendril; lets part of his Void lash out, striking 4 times over a long distance, but this leaves it vulnerable for longer [NAIL+SPELL+DOWN]: Pure Multidrive, only obtainable after Pure Drive; consumes Soul to, after a delay, cast a boosted version of Pure Drive, with 4 huge, evenly spaced nails instead of 1
