4D engine I'm currently working on. Read Notes for full explanation. Press S to see more of the 4D world. TurboWarp Highly Recommended: https://turbowarp.org/1238053077/?fps=60&hqpen Controlls: W - Forward S - Backward A - Left D - Right E - Ana Q - Kata F - up V - down Mouse - Look up/down, left/right Mouse + C - Change angle of screen Mouse + R - Rotate ana/kata and do a new 4D rotation that swaps Ana/Kata and Left/Right directions Currently extremely buggy, but I might turn into a First-person shooter game that takes place in a maze.
The idea behind this engine comes from the fact that in a 3D world, the screen you view it with is only 2D, it has length and width. So going up a dimension, it makes sense that in a 4D world, the screen we view it with would be 3D. In a 3D world, the center of the 2D screen marks the direction we are facing, with the edges being our left, right, top and bottom directions. In 4D, the center of our cubic screen is still the direction we are facing but now we have two new directions to look, Ana and Kata. 4D also has 3 new rotations, two of which are used here when not going upside-down. The screen wobbles to help give you a better perspective on where the objects are on the screen, while your position in the 4D world does not change. the whole scene is wireframe so you can see through objects.
