i really dont get it, all base game mods run on sfsg's code.. sfsg wanting pay from projects running on the code for the paid game they made is not the same as nintendo taking down little timmy's mario fangame built from the ground up because it uses the character of mario
so like how does so far so good not wanting their paid work to be distributed for free make them an evil nintendo corporation incredibox mods have different characters and sounds sure but the code is still by so far so good. all the functionality of the game is their property that they put a price tag on imagine if someone made minecraft with all the same mechanics but with completely different blocks, mobs, etc. and distributed it for free. you changed some of the main things sure, but that's still minecraft. it's very clearly a modified version of minecraft and since minecraft is a paid game the developers should get paid for that *dislike* the change, sure, but i dont see the point in flaming a company for not wanting their paid work to be widely distributed for free they like mods, if they didn't then mod support for the base game wouldn't be a thing. they just want modding to be done in a way where they benefit from their work that, again, is paid
