click, space, arrow keys! this project explains how I plan to turn my new journal 3 book into a replica of the special edition! the links are inside the project, as pasting them here activates the bad word detector. 1. the cover! (this isn't part of the process I'm just so happy I finally got the book) 2. random clip of the book that made me crash out lol 3. my first step is to replicate the lift-up photos! in the special edition, the pictures are actually there and lift up. (wow from the angle I took the photo it looks kinda real) basically, what I want to do is as follows. -print out whatever is under the picture in the special edition. -glue it on top of the non-flippable photo in the normal edition. -print out a copy of the photo. -tape it on top of the glued-in words. ta-da! a liftable photo! I came across a couple very helpful docs where you can find pictures of everything you need, including the do you like me paper and the quentin trembley document as well! it also includes a copy of the signed alex hirsch page, and while it wont be the real marker signature, it still seems worth printing because of the blacklight bill drawing under his picture. view the second sprite for the links to the docs! 4. after all the pictures are in, there comes the hardest part: the blacklight stuff. as you may know, the normal edition does not include the blacklight parts as seen in the show. at first I thought I would write it in with invisible ink, as I have seen a lot of other people tried, but a wise friend told me (@sharko_storage *wink wink*) that it doesn't work! so I did some research. what you need is glow-in-the-dark paint. in the next image I will show you the paint that was recommended in the post I found. EDIT! After doing some more research I've decided to switch to a type of glow in the dark highlighter! 5. the paint! if you view one of the links in the second sprite, this is the paint recommended in the post, so it's the one I'm gonna try. for the tassel and monocle, I'm just gonna buy my own monocle, and then buy a tassel. yea. links for the ones I plan to get also in second sprite. (the tassel on the first picture cover is just from my bookmark lol) and that's all I have!! if you are planning on making one of these, feel free to use this plan! or just wait for me to finish mine and see how it goes lol I'm scared
