About him being distant and isolated, connections can be made with him! He's js very grumpy about it. I want him to be like Carl from UP in a way. .+. Reasons why he doesn't like making connections with people is because of his dad. He gets his grumpy, impulsive behavior from his father, and his dad wasn't the most pleasant person to be around because of it. Alabaster doesn't want to get to know people just to treat them badly when he doesn't mean to. .+. If he looks huge, he isn't. He's just a little bigger than normal Noivern :)
