**Moonflower and Hawk** -chapter 45- Another year passed. Zelda was fifteen. Link was sixteen. The castle felt colder now. Not in temperature-but in spirit. Zelda walked the halls with her head high, her steps precise, her words measured. She was becoming the princess her father demanded, The one the kingdom expected. But she wasn't happy. Not like before. She hadn't laughed in months. She hadn't drawn squirrels or moonblossoms or boots. She hadn't written a letter. Link had changed too. He was a knight now-stationed in the castle, posted at doors and corridors, always silent, always still. He didn't talk. He didn't smile. He did his duty. And that was all. Sometimes, when Zelda passed through the halls, she saw him. Just for a moment. Standing guard near the throne room. Or outside the council chamber. Or by the garden gate. She'd glance at him. He'd glance back. Their eyes would meet-brief, quiet, heavy. Then Zelda would look away. She'd speed up. She'd pretend she didn't feel anything. But she did. Every time. He never said a word. She never stopped walking. But the silence between them was louder than anything they'd ever said. And it hurt. AAAAAAH somtimes a regret what I wrote bc it make me cry
