Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs. spaghetti 2 Tbs. butter 1 1/2 - 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded 30-40 slices pepperoni, torn or sliced into thirds 1 Tbs. + 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 tsp. salt Red sauce for serving (optional) Directions: Fill a pot with water and set on high heat. Once the water is boiling, lower the heat to medium. Break the spaghetti in half and set in the water. Cook until al dente, or as directed on the package, stirring occasionally. Drain. Add in the butter, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well. Serve and enjoy!
If you want to add the red sauce to the food directly, go ahead! Mix it in with the other ingredients. I only kept it separate because I know one of my brothers doesn't like sauce, and we didn't even have any in the house the first time I made it. But you go ahead, do whatever you want with the sauce. Canned, jarred, or homemade sauce will do! If you want measurements, I'd say use 1 can or jar of sauce, maybe 2 if you like your spaghetti saucy. If using homemade sauce, maybe a full batch. I actually haven't added sauce to the recipe directly very often. This recipe is easily flexible. Want more cheese? Go for it! Want less pepperoni? Go ahead! Want to make it a Supreme Pizza Spaghetti? Do it! Need to make a smaller batch? Need a double batch? It should be easy enough! This is a recipe to experiment with. You do what sounds good to you! Enjoy cooking!
