I'm too sleepy to make lots of lore but here u go: Meridian always existed between many worlds, whether it was the busy yet calming society of the Seawings, the colorful and vibrant rainforest, the confusing, yet friendly world of Jade Mountain Academy, or the peaceful, solitary days of life between these places. Despite how many times Meridian visited each one, they never truly felt like home enough for her to stay long. She found her uses however, trading the little valuables she had. Information, across all lands and kingdoms, was enough to get by. She had to admit to herself, that she might have chosen to stay at the Kingdom of the Sea. Its crashing waves and serene underwater ecosystem did feel something like home at times. Unfortunately, Queen Coral only wanted her around long enough for her to pass along what information she had, then to leave her palace. She should have counted herself lucky. Not all dragons got to hold an audience with a queen from any kingdom once, let alone dozens of times. Meridian held many connections with dragons from every kingdom, most of them coming from the Sandwings. Contacts in Possibility got her all the info she needed from the Scorpion den, Queen Thorns palace, and even farther north in the frozen palace of the Icewings. Not that many Icewings were keen to reveal any information about their home. One of her best contacts, surprisingly, came from Jade Mountain Academy. Strangely, the principal of the school, Tsunami, was one of her best contacts and favorite dragons. Meridian supposed that being a Dragonet of Destiny as well as one of the founders of the school had its perks. Tsunami often traded her information for messages from her mother, Queen Coral, who often asked Meridian to deliver said messages to both Tsunami and Anemone. Meridian supposed she could have chosen to settle in Possibility. Many different hybrids there, most of them unwelcome in their kingdoms, found a home there, but something about staying in one place for longer then a week felt wrong to Meridian. It was also true that after talking with Tsunami for a while, Queen Glory must have heard of Meridian from her, and invited Meridian to stay in the rainforest. Meridian had attempted to get used to the lazy and boring life of the Rainwings, even getting appointed to help Deathbringer train some Rainwing soldiers, but after a while she found the need to move on once more. Life on the move suited her, and she was just fine with that. As for her parents, Meridian had never met them, nor head any wind of them. She had grown up alone in the wilderness. Perhaps that was why she had no taste for large towns and lots of dragons. Maybe, if she kept searching, she would find a home at some point. Or maybe not. Despite it all, Meridian still found joy in the simple things of travel. Soaring over the warm updrafts of the ocean was her favorite way to cover long distances, and making camp for the night in a costal cave or near a beach somehow made the stars look ten times brighter. me lik lore
