(jimmy pov) I paced in my room in the palace. The newly crowned king, Scott, watched from the doorway. "My dear-" "Don't. Don't you dare say that! You promised! And you lied, friends don't lie!" I yelled at him. Scott looked like I'd just punched him in the gut. It was the first time i had said friends instead of 'lovers', 'boyfriends', or 'husbands' since he became king. "Sunflower, please-" He tried again. This time, i did punch him. I remembered who originally called me 'sunflower'. My older siblings... but they were still in EVO, and they were never coming back... "J-jimmy-" Scott coughed. "/Never/ call me that again." I glared at him. Scott bowed his head. My new adoptive older sister, Lizzie, said my glare could even make The Red King bow down. "You promised!" I clenched my fists, and my wings puffed up. "i'm sorry..." Scott looked sorry. "Promise me something?" I asked hesitently. "Anything, for you, songbird." "Don't make promises you can't keep." I said, walking past him.
