11/18/25 ---------------------------------------------------------------- I will likely explore his character and story more some time in the future, but what I have decided thus far is that, with the aid of his enchanted scarf as a catalyst for magic, he is a low-key mage who finds himself only where he is needed. When he finds himself with time to spare, he spends it playing his beloved flute--and other times, he searches restlessly for his family history. He knows so little of himself he cannot see himself making proper connections, but desires it all the same. The land from which he hails saw him doing battle against an immensely powerful man of which he does not know if he will ever be free of; as he had learned searching through the remains of his fathers possessions that he shares the name of each of his forefathers, who were bound to the one fate of facing a similar evil time and time again; all without knowing where his place is in said lineage. His father was cursed by a wicked being and so was ever weakened each passing day he raised his son. Gravely worried for his father's life, Brisk sought to become a mage in order to aid his father; despite only being a child. Yet, his time spent learning was in vain, as his father's health worsened rapidly. In his dying breath, he gifted Brisk his mother's flute, entrusting he would do good by her desire for a united land. Though, Brisk lost sight of this mission in serving others, knowing not if he was truly doing so by his own will.
11/07/25 ---------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES This felt relevant to me at the current moment--this isn't the full extent of his design; may or may not share the rest here. I'm not sure yet. I haven't been active here in a while, and I wanted to post *some* things; anything I felt comfortable to, really. Not because I "grew out of it", but moreso that I had no space for it. While that remains to be, I don't want to completely abandon my account. I want to do big things, but Scratch isn't related wholly to them. To that end, I hope to connect to others and converse whenever I am able. To friends of Scratch I had regretted to contact even after, I give my deepest and sincerest apologies. Never did I wish to burden your hearts.
