Why the name Straylight?: In science, "stray light" is unintended light that can interfere with an optical system, but which can also reveal hidden details. For a musical group, this can be interpreted as a raw, unexpected talent that was not part of a planned system. The group shines brilliantly despite—or because of—its unconventional path, much like Stray Kids' journey of self-production and finding their own sound.
