(This is part of an ARG made by @Waketaa. This is not canon to the Speedy lore or any other lore. When I refer to "me" here, I am speaking as the creator, not Speedy, okay that's all.) Nov 8th: I found one. For context, lately, @Waketaa (Gino), @WillTheKitsune, and a couple other people who I don't really know have been finding various creatures in their houses and been posting about it. Usually in the basement, closet, garage, etc. Gino has a creature named Bella. But back to the point. I heard something crashing around in my attic this morning, and it FREAKED ME OUT. I let it be for about an hour, and then I mustered up the courage and went up there to check it out. And then I saw this thing. He was rummaging through a bunch of boxes, looking for something. As soon as he saw me, he froze and just stared at me. He looked horrified. I kinda just stared at him for a minute too before taking a picture. He didn't move. I tried to get closer, but he immediately darted away. As soon as I left, he went back to rummaging around. Just from looking at him, I could gather a couple things. 1. He was a Guardian Angel. There's another Guardian Angel I know about named Zyiot that used to be friends with Bella, before something happened. I won't go into it here, but if you look at Zyiot's account, @A__N__G__E__L, or some of Gino's projects, you should be able to figure it out. 2. He was pretty small. But that was a minor detail compared to the last one. 3. He was bone thin. It looked like he hadn't eaten in weeks. I decided he should probably have something to eat. I knew Zyiot liked strawberries, so I grabbed some and brought them up to him. He didn't move when I came up, but as soon as I set a strawberry on the ground for him, he ran over, grabbed it, ran back to where he was, and ate it, all it a couple seconds. And he did it again when I set down the rest of the strawberries. Have you ever eaten too fast and someone's told you "Slow down, no one's taking it from you."? Well that's the mindset he seemed to have. Like I was gonna take it from him... I'm ordering him a box of donuts. I think he could use it. He's stopped rummaging around though, so I guess he was just really hungry... I wonder if he knows Zyiot... I'll ask when I convince him to talk to me at all. Nov 10th: I got the donuts. I took them up to the attic, took two out of the box for myself, and set the rest down for the creature. For the first 8 donuts, it was the same as earlier: Grab one, dart away, wolf it down, come back for another. By his 8th donut, I had sat down and started eating my first. He hesitated. Then, ever so slowly, he creeped over, took one of his last two donuts out of the box, sat down, and began to eat it slowly. For a while, we just sat there like that; enjoying the donuts and acknowledging each other's presence. Once I got my second one, I asked, "You must've been through a lot, huh?", but he just stared at me, so I went back to eating my donut. Once we both finished, he didn't immediately dart away, so I decided to see if I could get him to say anything, just to hear his voice. A phrase, a word, a peep, anything. So I asked, "Uh, would you happen to know anyone named 'Zyiot'?" He looked at me, trembling. I saw a single tear form in the corner of his eye. He turned away. Then I heard him speak. At first I thought I imagined it, but no. He actually spoke. And he said, "I miss him.". Then he darted off again. ... He's just a little kid. 10. Maybe 11, at the oldest. That explains him being so small, but I didn't really consider it before. Poor thing. What happened to him? Nov 12th: I managed to get the little guy to talk to me for real, finally. Says he hasn't been in his home world in about 5 years, since Zyiot got infected by the Gloophi. He hasn't told me how he knows Zyiot yet, but he definitely was close to him. He had a pet Jellie back home. He had a Squakkoa friend back home named Jitter. That's about it. Also, I finally learned his name. His name's Cinna. :) (CONTINUED IN NOTES AND CREDITS BECAUSE IT GOT TOO LONG AND SCRATCH TRIED TO CAP IT.)
Nov 15th: I showed Cinna Zyiot's scratch acc today. I let him scroll through the projects, for the first few, he seemed a little scared, but mostly... Tired? No. Weary. Like he had seen it a million times before. When he got to the project labeled "OH GOD IT HURTS", he started crying. He didn't stop for a while. He kept going through the projects, seeing Zyiot fighting the Gloophi, and he just cried the whole time... When he got to the project "I'm okay now", he was confused, so I showed him the project where Bella gave Zy the cure. He instantly recognized them, and seemed glad to see them, and even more glad to see Zyiot get cured. He hugged me after that. "He's okay..." he wept, "He's really okay..." After he calmed down, I asked "You really miss him, don't you?" He nodded. "Was he your friend?" Then he said something that surprised me. I should have suspected it, but it still surprised me. He said, "No, he was my friend, but he was more than that... He was... He is... My big brother." I was taken aback, I wanted to ask more, but he ran off again. I guess he's still processing everything. I hope he's okay... Nov 15th (part 2 WHAT): Cinna finally explained everything. Once people figured out that Zyiot was killing people, they were not happy. A mob formed. They went to his house, and they burned the place down with Cinna inside. He barely managed to get out of there. His pet Jellie made it out, too, but it ran off, and he hasn't seen it since. He came to our world, trying to hide from the people who wanted to hurt him, and he's barely made it by... "He really misses you..." I told him, "He said hi." He thought for a moment, and decided "I want to go see him." I'm packing him a bag of animal crackers and some other snacks. He's going to try to find Zyiot. I gave him a little map showing how to get to Gino's, where Zy's been staying for now. He'll be heading out soon. I hope he can find him... Nov 17th: Agggghhh! Cinna's only been gone for like two days but I already miss him so much and I'm worried about him! :(
