This is just a friendly reminder that words are powerful! Be careful what you are saying in day to day life, and what you speak to others. God brought everything into this world with nothing but words, and as children of God we hold immense power without our tongues as well. Our words have the power to speak both life, and death over things. Jesus himself spoke to a fig tree and cursed it with his words, and the day after the tree died. He did this to show his disciplines and us, that are words aren't a thing to play around with. James 1:19 says, "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." the key phrase for this message, is "slow to speak." not only do your words have power, you also need to be careful with them. I know its said a lot, but truly truly, T.H.I.N.K before you speak. are your words True? Are they Helpful? Inspiring? Necessary? and are they Kind? I could really write a whole novel just on how important our words are, but for times sake please please please, think before you speak, and use your words carefully!
